Woodbridge Township Municipal Court is one of the busiest courts in New Jersey. It has jurisdiction over all motor vehicle offenses, ordinance offenses, disorderly persons and petty disorderly persons offenses occurring in Woodbridge Township. Both the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike as well as Routes 1 and 9 run through Woodbridge, attributing to large number of motor vehicle violations heard in Woodbridge Court.
If you have received a ticket in Woodbridge, you should call the Court if you want to contest the ticket or attempt to mitigate the fines or points. The Court can be reached at (732) 636-6430 and the Court staff are very helpful with your questions or concerns. Many tickets are payable and do not require a court appearance, however, you may incur unnecessary points on your motor vehicle license. If you do contest your ticket, you will receive a court notice for one of the following sessions:
Monday - Friday 8:45 a.m., Monday - Thursday 6:45 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 1 p.m.
The address is 1 Main Street, Woodbridge , NJ 07095. It is the Town Hall Building for Woodbridge Township. Court it through the main doors, and straight until you cannot go any further, then a right through the metal detectors. Court staff will direct you where to go and what to do.
