Municipal Court
Municipal Courts in New Jersey handle a broad range of matters from traffic offenses to violations of municipal ordinances, and certain criminal charges which involve penalties including substantial fines and incarceration.
Although there is no jury present in municipal court, the potential penalties can be severe. With charges ranging from DWI, drug offenses, shoplifting and even speeding, many attempt to represent themselves. However, there are rules of evidence and procedure that can be very confusing and even misleading to people who are unfamiliar with them.

A last will and testament deals with the distribution of your estate after you pass.

Criminal Law
Being charged with a criminal offense is an overwhelming ordeal. Knowing your rights, options, defenses and strengths or weaknesses of the case against you can be the difference between incarceration and freedom.
Representation should not be left to those who do not know things like the type of sentence you are facing or whether you are eligible for the Pretrial Intervention Program or Drug Court.

Expungement
Expungement is the process of having a Court order that all records relative to a criminal offense are deleted. This entitles a person who previously had a criminal record to lawfully state that they do not.
Having a record free of criminal offenses is important. A criminal record can affect your ability to get a job, school admission, benefit eligibility or professional licensure.
Although not all offenses are expungeable, the New Jersey criminal code allows for the expungement of a wide array of offenses from your record. These include indictable criminal offenses, disorderly persons offenses, ordinance violations, findings of juvenile delinquency and arrests not resulting in conviction.
